During the months of May and June, ASUS Camps offers hour-long innovative, interactive, and educational Arts and Science workshops based on the Ontario curriculum. Learn more about ASUS camps
Enrichment Studies Unit (ESU)
The Enrichment Studies Unit (ESU) connects students in grades 5-12 with inspiring academics and opportunities to discover future careers. Students take unique and challenging academic courses, live in residence, and experience campus life during May, June, and August. The ESU offers a variety of courses in Science, Engineering, Law, Business, and the Arts. ESU programs and camps are for school groups or individual students. ESU programs and camps are also available to school and community groups for overnight and daytime excursions and fieldtrips.
- Little Leaders P.A. Day Camps: A theme-based PA Day camp where grade 1-4 students build confidence, teamwork and leadership skills through science and art.
- Five Six Enrichment Days: This in-residence, overnight program engages and challenges grade 5-6 students through workshops in 3 different disciplines.
- Seven Eight Enrichment Days (SEEDS): An overnight or daytime academic camp experience for grade 7-8 students
- Enrichment Mini Course (EMC): An overnight or daytime academic program for grade 9-12 students.
- Summer Enrichment Experience @ Queen’s (SEEQ): Where students going into grades 8-12 have the opportunity to learn beyond the school classroom
- Leadership Training Levels L1, L2, L3: An innovative overnight program for students in grade 7-10 who strive to become effective leaders in academic, extracurricular, and business situations. ?
Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science: Connections Engineering Outreach
- Go Code Girl: This free event provides an opportunity for girls in grades ranging from 7 to 11 across Ontario to learn about the exciting world of coding and software development, and discover opportunities in computing and engineering fields.
- Go ENG Girl: This free event provides an exciting opportunity for girls in Grades 7-11 across Ontario to visit Queen’s campus and learn from women in the engineering profession, academics, and students.
- : With both residence and day options available, QSEA is an engineering-focused program that exposes students in Grades 5-11 to engineering design and engineering fields such as chemical, civil, electrical and computing, geological, mechanical engineering, mining, and others.
- : The TNT trailer is a mobile engineering design makerspace that travels to schools, community organizations and public events. Boasting a full range of educational technologies, the TNT trailer team provides hands-on experiential learning opportunities that complement the Ontario school curriculum.
- Connections Engineering Outreach also works with local Girl Guide chapters to offer workshops.
